Halloween Party 2010

No School on the Following days

I will open Weds. and Friday of Thanksgiving week. No school Thanksgiving Day, christmas eve and christmas day. No school on Dec. 30 and 31. School will resume Jan. 2.

Thanksgiving Dinner: Stone soup!

On Nov. 24, 2010 Wednesday @12pm, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving! We are making a stone soup. The kids and I are cooking together! We are going to dress as pilgrims and indians! We are so excited! Please come and join us!

colds yuck!

Just a little reminders about colds! I am encouraging all the kids to wash their hands, covering their mouths when the cough and sneeze. In addition to not putting toys in their mouths. Its getting cooler so please remember to bring sweaters. We are trying very hard to stay sniffle free :) Also if your little one has a fever please keep them home. This hopefully reduces the spread of those yuck cold germs and helps your little one to rest. Finally, I will give the kids medicine. So just give me the directions and I will continue it here. I want to help them feel alllllllllll better! :)

Wecloming 2 new students!

I would like to welcome Landon! He is 2 1/2 and Tristian he is 18 months!  I would like to welcome all of you to our little family! We are are so excited you have joined us!

2 months open

October 1 is my 2 months mark of being open and operating :) I truly love it. Thank you everyone for believing me! I truly love the kids! We are learning and having lots of fun!

School/Daycare Shirts: Conceived Notions

I am having shirts made for all the kids. No expense to the parents. A dear friend has a business in Orlando, Fla Conceived Notions (check out the blog www. conceivednotions.blogspot.com). She will be designing the shirts. I am very excited about this! Thank you again Amber! The shirts will be mailed out this week. When they are finished I will put pictures up here. I will be taking pictures of the kids in them. :) Parents will also have these pictures framed.

Returning Tomorrow!

Marra is returning tomorrow! She was with me last school for homeschool. She is back! She is going into the second grade! I am very excited and honored to be Marra's teacher for the second year!

Our daughter had some adjustment problems while attending a local private school. We took her out and she was schooled by Shelly last year. I just want to say that Shelly is a wonderful person who communicated very well with my daughter and her social and scholastic abilites improved significantly. Now our daughter is enrolled in a different private school and is exceeding all of our expectation in social adjustments as well as her studies. We do feel this would not have happened without Shelly in our lives. She is an Angel who appeared in our lives at the time when we needed her the most and will always keep a warm place for her in our heart. Kudos to you Shelly and good luck!
